Japan Economic Research Institute, Inc. (JERI) engages in a lot of projects examining roles of development finance and microfinance in developing countries and those in the process of transition to the market economy, based on studying experiences of development policies and policy-based finance functioning as a significant policy drive of post-war economic reconstruction and high economic growth in Japan.
